 Mr. Sadhu Johnston
Assistant to the Mayor for Green Initiatives, City Of Chicago
Mr. Johnston works for the City of Chicago where he serves as the Assistant to the Mayor for Green Initiatives. His responsibilities include the coordination and facilitation of green efforts throughout the City. Prior to working for the City of Chicago, Sadhu was the Founder and Executive Director of the Cleveland Green Building Coalition, an Affiliate of the USGBS. The CGBC is a non-profit organization dedicated to implementing green building throughout Northeast Ohio. The organization’s accomplishments included a $4 million green renovation of an historic bank known as the Cleveland Environmental Center. The Center, which serves as a home for various non-profit organizations features a green roof with native endangered plants, a geothermal heating and cooling system, healthy indoor air quality, and many other green building features. |
